Wyoming Weed Pocket Guide: A small booklet containing 59 weeds commonly found throughout Wyoming. Free!

Weed Pocket Guide: A small booklet containing the most common noxious weeds in the Greater Yellowstone Area put together by the Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee. Free!

The Annual Weed: A brief annual report of accomplishments from member agencies of the Jackson Hole Weed Management Association (JHWMA). Free! Sent out annually in the Jackson Hole News and Guide in April or May.

Outlaw Plants of the West: A collection of games and activities for kids to increase their knowledge of noxious weeds. Put together by the JHWMA. Free to Teton County Residents! Otherwise, $1.00/copy.

Noxious Weeds of Western Wyoming: A brochure describing the top noxious weeds threatening western Wyoming's native plants and wildlife. Also learn how you can help to stop their spread. Free!

Snake River Project:  A booklet describing the importance of working to protect areas along the Snake River. It targets many interest levels on, “Why should I care about noxious weeds?” Noxious weed species found along the river are described in detail and many myths are turned to fact. Free!

Weeds of the West: A hard back book of weeds selected by weed scientists who are members of the Western Society of Weed Science. Plants found in this book can be noxious weeds, non-native weeds or native weeds. Copies of this book can be purchased for $24 at the County Weed and Pest District offices.

JHWMA website and more: There are countless organizations with very informative websites that can answer many questions that you may have. Go to the Links page.  

Creating Native Landscapes in the Northern Great Plains and Rocky Mountains: This booklet describes the different winter hardiness zones and recommends wildflowers, trees, shrubs, and grasses for those areas. This is an excellent source if you are landscaping your property. Free! They can be picked up at the Teton Conservation District Office at 230 E. Broadway, Suite 2A.

Rural Living Handbook: A guide for living in and enjoying the natural resources of Jackson Hole. This covers topic ranging from the Wildlife Feeding ban to Noxious Weeds to Recycling. Free! These can also be picked up at the Teton Conservation District office at 230 E. Broadway, Suite 2A.
